Shudder has renewed their Creepshow series as they release trailer and more info for the upcoming second season.
As reported by Deadline, Shudder has ordered another six episodes for a third season of their Creepshow series. Shudder revealed the renewal ahead of AMC Networks’ virtual TCA winter press tour session. The third season will feature guest stars including Ethan Embry (Grace & Frankie) and Andrew Bachelor (The Walking Dead).
“During our season two production, Shudder was so pleased with what they were seeing that they asked us to roll right into production on a brand-new third season that will feature some of our most ambitious stories yet. I’m incredibly thankful to the team at Shudder for the opportunity to continue honouring the genre with more gleefully ghoulish tales over not one, but two new seasons of Creepshow this year.” - Greg Nicotero (Executive Producer and Showrunner)
As for Season 2, it will premiere on Shudder April 1st 2021. You can check out new artwork and trailer for the upcoming series below.
Season 2 will feature nine episodes with an all star cast including Barbara Crampton, Ali Larter, Ryan Kwanten, Iman Benson, C. Thomas Howell, Denise Crosby, Breckin Meyer, Ted Raimi, Kevin Dillon and Eric Edelstein.
Shudder also unveiled a bit more info regarding two segments that Nicotero himself directed. “Pesticide", written by Frank Dietz (Starring Keith David, Ashley Laurence and Josh McDermitt), follows an exterminator that makes an infernal bargain. "The Model Kid", written by returning Creepshow writer John Esposito, is about a 12-year-old monster fan who turns to hand-built model kits to escape his unhappy reality.
