Hammer films have partnered with Liquid Death Presents Download and will be screening some of their classics at the rock and metal music festival.
The first-ever collaboration will feature Hammer Films' celebrated night frights screenings, showcasing classic fan favourites and its latest release. Additionally, to commemorate the unholy collaboration, an exclusive, limited-edition T-shirt will be available for festival attendees. It’s a match made in hell!

In addition to the cinematic experience, Hammer Films is teaming up with Old Sarum Tattoo, marking Old Sarum's 11th year at Download Festival. This collaboration will offer exclusive Hammer horror flash tattoo designs, created specifically for the festival. Each person who gets tattooed will receive a cobranded Hammer Films and Old Sarum Tattoo sticker, celebrating this unique experience.
The exclusive Hammer Films T-shirt will be available only at Liquid Death Presents Download Festival for a limited run, making it a must-have collector's item for fans of horror, rock, and metal. Download is already boasting one hell of a line-up, so having Hammer Horror there is going to be something special. The festival will take place at Donington Park from 12th to 16th June 2024. From First Frights to Modern Nightmares
Kicking off our festivities, we dive into the roots of Hammer Horror with The Quatermass Xperiment, followed by our latest release, Doctor Jekyll This night bridges the gap between our pioneering past and innovative present.
21:30 – The Quartermass Xperiment
Professor Bernard Quartermass’ manned rocket ship returns to Earth, but two of the astronauts are missing and the survivor seems ill and unable to communicate.
23:30 – Doctor Jekyll
A modern re-imagining of the infamous Dr Jekyll from Robert Louis Stevenson's 1886 novella The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Dr Nina Jekyll made herself a fortune in the pharmaceutical industry, rubbing shoulders with the elite and becoming a household name. But her success came at a cost, and after scandal forced her out of the spotlight she now lives in seclusion with her demons. In need of an assistant, Jekyll hires Rob - an ex-con straight out of rehab, trying to get back on his feet. However, it soon becomes clear that there are evil forces at play, and Rob's wits are tested in a game of cat and mouse with a mysterious and manipulative entity.

On Saturday, we delve into the world of vampires with Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter and the iconic Dracula. Witness the evolution of vampire lore as only Hammer Films can present.

We close our festival experience with a tribute to Frankenstein. Sunday’s double bill features Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell and The Curse of Frankenstein, showcasing the enduring impact of the classic tale.
21:30 – Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell
Baron Victor Frankenstein hides out in an insane asylum so that he may continue his experiments in re-animating the dead along with Dr Simon Helder- another crazed inmate who has been institutionalised for conducting such experiments.
23:30 – The Curse of Frankenstein
While awaiting execution for murder, Baron Victor Frankenstein tells the story of a creature he built and brought to life- only for it to behave not as he intended.
