Halloween Kills Extended Cut Heads Home This January

After killing off the competition and raking in over $130 million globally at the box office, David Gordon Green's Halloween will be heading home on DVD, Blu-ray & 4K Ultra HD this January.

In October, we reported that David Gordon Green revealed Halloween Kills will be releasing with an 'Extended Cut' which also features a different ending to the one we saw upon initial release (you can read that full story HERE). Green's second film in his Halloween trilogy will be available digitally from December 13th 2021, with physical copies hitting stores January 17th 2022 here in the UK and January 11th 2022 in the US.

The nightmare isn't over as unstoppable killer Michael Myers escapes from Laurie Strode's trap to continue his ritual bloodbath. Injured and taken to the hospital, Laurie fights through the pain as she inspires residents of Haddonfield to rise up against Myers. Taking matters into their own hands, the Strode women and other survivors form a vigilante mob to hunt down Michael and end his reign of terror once and for all.

In addition to the extended cut with an alternative ending, the physical copy also boasts an array of special features for fans to enjoy. Here's what to expect:

  • Includes 4K UHD, Blu-ray and a digital copy of Halloween Kills

  • Includes 2 Versions of the Movie: Theatrical and Extended with Alternate Ending

  • Gag Reel

  • Deleted and Extended Scenes

  • Haddonfield’s Open Wounds

  • The Kill Team

  • Strode Family Values

  • 1978 Transformations

  • The Power of Fear

  • Kill Count

  • Feature Commentary with director/co-writer David Gordon Green and stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer

I'm looking forward to grabbing my copy of the film, I really enjoyed it! You can check out my full review of the film HERE. And I'm even more interested to check out this extended cut and alternative ending.
