The Final Destination franchise will return to the big screen after a 14 year absence as Warner Brothers sets early summer release for the sixth film.
The sixth film in the franchise, titled Final Destination: Bloodlines, will release into cinemas May 16th 2025. The film will be directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, and whilst there's no current plot synopsis the film we do know Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor are writing the script. Spiderman: No Way Home's director Jon Watts on board as a producer.Producers for New Line Cinema also include Dianne McGunigle (Cop Car) as well as Final Destination producers Craig Perry and Sheila Hanahan Taylor.
The cast for the hit franchise’s sixth instalment includes Teo Briones (Chucky), Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Kaitlyn Santa Juana (The Friendship Game), Richard Harmon (Grave Encounters 2), Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones (The Book Of Boba Fett), Rya Kihlstedt (Obi Wan Kenobi), and Tinpo Lee (The Manor).
Final Destination: Bloodlines Set For Early Summer 2025 Release
This is the first new film since 2011’s Final Destination 5. Created by Jeffrey Reddick the horror franchise started in 2000 with the original Final Destination, and always follows a group being hunted down by death after narrowly escaping being killed in a catastrophic event or accident. They went on to gross an impressive combined total of $657 million worldwide.
